The morning on which we delivered for Shepherd’s Bush project, we experienced certain foreseen challenges. The tall units were all delivered unassembled – which was entirely necessary – as anything larger than 65 cm sq. ft. would fit in the quaint original staircase. Luckily, there was a conveniently located window at the rear of the building that provided us a second route. Even more convenient was a tripe ladder in the garden that became our slip and support for the handling of the product down to the basement French doors and kitchen. However, these conveniences would have meant nothing if not for the effort and ability of the Signal Home employees that were working on the project. They cracked into the task, we assessed the route and the risk, and they got busy. I heartily expressed my gratitude to Julian and his team, as I realized that they had made the difference between a successful complete delivery and a headache down the line. A great team effort! The builder showed up and kept out the way, and the client showed up to run an eye over proceedings, I think both where very pleased to see this important stage passed.
